Hi Everyone. I Just wanted to say a hugh thank you to everyone who supported this years duck race and to all that put in so much hard work to make this years event a great community event. I am really pleased to say we have a date for next year which will be Saturday the 27th June 2026. Would you like to be part of the organising team? If you would please drop me a message and i will pass on the details of our next meeting.

Good Evening to you all. I Am really pleased to say this years Community Duck Race will be going ahead. I However can not run this event without the residents support. I Therefore would like to set up a meeting at the Harold Mason Centre on Monday 19th May at 7pm to start planning this great local event. Good Morning All
Since 2021 I have not been on Burton Latimer Town Council (BLTC). However, I am pleased to be returning to represent you on BLTC from Tuesday. One thing I have missed in previous years is our community Duck Race. I will be putting this on the agenda at our first council meeting on Tuesday, and I will be putting my name forward to organise this years event. However, I cannot do this without support from the community.

The high Street in Burton Latimer will be closed on 17th April between 9-30 and 15-30 due to overhead fibre cabling. The closure and diversion can be viewed here https://one.network/?tm=142142258 It is expected the works will take 1 day.

I Thought this would be of interest.
Kier Highways have requested a road closure on Warkton Lane to carry out carriageway Resurfacing. It is expected that the works will take 19 days and are due to commence on the 03/03/25-21/03/25
