🎉 Exciting news! 🎉

We will soon be running a brand new 🌟FREE 🌟 Stay 'n' Play group for families with children aged two and under! 👶🧸🍼

The group will focus on fun activities and play ideas 🎨, connecting other families and building support networks 🤝 , as well as offering a warm and welcoming space where your little ones can explore and grow 🥰🌱

The group will officially begin after the Easter holidays (term time only), but there will be a taster session on Monday 23 March to give you an opportunity to check it out first! 🎪

Location: Croyland Nursery School & Day Nursery, Wellingborough NN8 2AX
Taster session: Monday 23 March, 13:30-15:00
Official sessions: Beginning Monday 13 April, 13:30-15:00 and every Monday thereafter (excluding bank holidays)

Due to the current weather conditions and the forecasted snowfall expected this week, we are closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of our children and staff.

Should it become necessary to close the nursery school for safety reasons, parents and carers will be informed via Dojo, email and Facebook. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible. In the event that weather conditions deteriorate during the day, and an early closure is required, parents and carers will again be notified via Dojo.

We kindly request that parents and carers refrain from contacting the nursery school by telephone regarding weather-related closures, so that we can keep lines of communication clear. Please assume that the nursery school remains open unless you receive direct communication from us confirming a closure.

One of our sister schools, Camrose Early Years Centre for Children and Families in Northampton, are looking to recruit a Senior Early Years Lead to assist the Executive Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and the management team with the leadership, management and daily operation of the nursery provisions.

This is a full-time role, working on 52-week contract.
Salary: Grade I, Scale point 22-26 (£33,699 - £37,280)

• Develop and support children's early learning, ensuring there is continuity and high quality
• Fully implement the curriculum policy within the nursery provisions in terms of the image of the child being visual to all decisions, planning, practices and reviews
• Lead and manage the nursery teams, who are responsible for and assist with planning the learning and teaching environment and keeping records of progress for groups of children

If you’re an eligible working parent, you can get 30 hours childcare for your child from the term after they turn 9 months old up to school age.

The deadline to apply for your childcare code is 31 December to start using your childcare hours from 1 January.

What you need to know:

• Speak to your childcare provider: Check that they offer the hours and confirm their arrangements

Last Monday, the Rainbow Room went on an adventure to the local library! The children enjoyed group storytime, singing songs, and a tour of the library. They also had a great time exploring and playing in the dedicated children’s area at Wellingborough Library.

Parents' involvement made the trip even more special, and we truly appreciate their being such an important part of our school community.
