I hosted the school leavers party this week ๐Ÿ
I havenโ€™t been open this month and Iโ€™d missed them so much!
Super proud of how amazing both girls have grown over the last few years and know theyโ€™re going to do so well at school. I also feel extremely lucky that Iโ€™m still going to see both of them and cannot wait to hear about their new adventures! โœ๏ธ

Iโ€™m looking forward to the next term, new adventures and settling a new baby bee over the next few weeks ๐Ÿคฉ

Messy Play Matters and How You Can Share with Families๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’š

Messy play can sometimes look like paint-covered hands, muddy clothes, or sand on the floor but behind every splash, scoop, and squish is meaningful play-based learning.

Our "Why Messy Play Matters" Letter for Families is a free printable designed to help parents and caregivers understand the incredible learning happening during messy play. It's the perfect resource for building strong home-school partnerships and celebrating the value of hands-on exploration. ๐Ÿ‘

Because messy play isn't just about getting messy it's about discovering, exploring, and growing through play. ๐ŸŒˆ Download your free printable and help families see the magic behind the mess here: https://tinyurl.com/5n8zavz5

Today we had a visit from one of the beeโ€™s new teachers at big school and I canโ€™t even put into words how emotional it makes me feel ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
I know both my bees are so ready to buzz out of the LBB hive for their next adventure but it still makes me so sad that they wonโ€™t be here every week ๐Ÿ Iโ€™ve had one for 3 years and the other for 2, so a long time!! Hereโ€™s to our last 2 months of making the best memories ๐Ÿ

Allowing children to walk barefoot inside and outside fuels proprioception, which gives the ability to perceive the motion and position of the body in a given space.

It is good for the vestibular system which is responsible for balance and coordination. It stimulates the senses when walking barefoot along a pebble beach or on tickly grass.

Being barefoot promotes strong and flexible feet, ligaments, muscles and fewer children have fallen arches.

So let's not rush to put shoes on our little ones as soon as they walk as the benefits to walking barefoot are huge.
