🎉 GCSE RESULTS DAY 2026 | AIMING FOR EXCELLENCE 🎉

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students collecting their GCSE results today!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience shown by our students, and it has been wonderful to celebrate with them as they take their next steps. A big thank you also goes to our staff and families for the support they have provided along the way.

Sixth Form enrolment is taking place today and students from other schools are very welcome to come along and enrol with us, subject to meeting our Sixth Form and individual course entry requirements.

📚 GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20th August

We’re looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students back to collect their GCSE results from 8:30am in the Main Hall.

Staff and our Careers Advisor will be on hand to celebrate with you and offer support and guidance with your next steps. Sixth Form enrolment will also be taking place for students continuing their journey with us.

🎓 A Level Results Day 2026 🎓

It was wonderful to welcome our Year 13 students back to the Academy this morning as they collected their A Level results and celebrated this important milestone in their education.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved during their time at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy and wish them every success as they take their next steps, whether that is university, an apprenticeship, employment or another exciting opportunity.

Although today marks the end of one chapter, we hope it certainly isn’t goodbye! We would love our students to keep in touch with us so that we can continue to follow their journeys, celebrate their achievements and share in their future successes.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, we can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you!

Our Year 10 students have been thinking big about the future of Wellingborough!

As part of an exciting project, they developed and pitched their own ideas and vision for the town's future, demonstrating creativity, teamwork and a real passion for their local community.

We are so proud of Tifani in Year 9, who is currently in Dublin representing England at the Dance World Cup! 🇬🇧

Tifani trains at Kilburn School of Dance in Wellingborough. Her hard work, dedication and talent have earned her this amazing opportunity, and we couldn't be prouder.

📢 Free School Meals – Applications Now Open for September 2026

Has your family received Universal Credit? If so, your child could be eligible for Free School Meals from September 2026.

⚠️ Important: All families must submit a new application – even if your child already receives Free School Meals. Existing eligibility will not automatically carry over under the new national arrangements.

From September 2026, the Government has expanded eligibility so that all children whose parents or carers receive Universal Credit can receive Free School Meals, regardless of household income.

✅ The application portal is now open, so we encourage all eligible families to apply as soon as possible to ensure your child's entitlement is in place for the start of the new academic year.
