A reminder that we are celebrating 'Hello Yellow' day tomorrow: the charity Young Minds' day to raise awareness and understanding of mental health.
Our students are invited to wear ONE item of yellow clothing as part of or in place of one item of uniform eg. A yellow jumper in place of their normal jumper, or a yellow t-shirt in place of their usual shirt and tie.
Let's all wear something yellow tomorrow and remind everyone who's struggling that it's ok to not be ok đź’›

It was great to welcome the NMPAT woodwind recital team to Weldon this week. They gave a mini concert and invited our more curious students to play the instruments. Battlefields Trip Update

We're making great time so expect to arrive back to Weldon by approximately 8.30pm. If parents and carers can arrive from 8.15pm, we'll make sure the gates are open for you! More updates to follow.

We took an earlier ferry crossing from Calais and so our ETA at Weldon is now 9.30pm. We'll keep parents and carers updated based on traffic.

Probably the highlight of the Battlefields Tour was our students, Harry, Rio and Rosie, representing Weldon Village Academy as wreath bearers in the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate. An incredible honour and a moving experience for us all.
