Little Hawk Forest School

Thank you to everyone who’s followed this page and supported my work at the Forest School. As you all know, Little Hawk Forest School is no more. However, a new opportunity has come my way and I am now working with Richard on his School of the Air project which is part of his website Owlbut’s World of Learning.

As of January 2024, we will be traveling to each county in England, to make videos of the history, geography and nature in each place. We are hoping to enthuse young children to get outside and learn more about the wonders found in their own country.

We aim to arouse curiosity, ignite imagination and release creativity. Those of you who are home educating may find our learning resources very useful. Whilst we don’t specifically adhere to the English national curriculum, many aspects of our material cover it, while providing a more rounded education.

Our Early Years Partners who work for Essex County Council, have asked me to share with all the parents whose child is due to start school this September!

"The Campaign is aimed at parents who have children starting Reception class in September. We will be sharing some key top tips and messages along with a variety of different professionals sharing their advice every day until the end of September."

Talk, Listen, Cuddle is an Essex campaign helping parents, carers and families give their young children the best start in life, developing their language and communication skills through playful learning at home.
