Over the Easter holiday weekend 13 of our cadets trained alongside 160 other Royal Marines Cadets from Alpha Company Royal Marines Cadets at Caerwent Training Area in Monmouthshire.
After an equipment check the cadet were separated into two groups where 60 uniformed instructors delivered a range of lessons - from Bivvi construction (where they had to sleep), camouflage & concealment, Ration pack cooking, judging distance, section formations, personal hygiene in the field, patrols, hand signals and a sniper stalk.
Feedback so far is they really enjoyed the weekend despite the lack of sleep and are looking forward to summer camp!
