Sadly Weald Pre-school is now closed.

After more than 50 years in the village, changing times mean that we have seen a gradual decline in numbers over the last few years and unfortunately we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close, as we did not have sufficient children on our books to remain open in September.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the families who have supported us over the years - it's been lots of fun and we have loved being a part of your lives.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported our sale back in the summer. We raised over £1,400 for our chosen charities- Demelza House Hospice for Children and Sevenoaks Larder food bank. 😊

A few people have asked for Mrs Maddison's play dough recipe, so here it is:

1 cup salt
2 cups flour
2 cups water
2 tbsp veg oil or similar
4 tsp cream of tartar
Food colouring

Mix everything together in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat on the hob (stirring from time to time) until solid (approx 5 mins). Allow to cool COMPLETELY before using, otherwise it goes sticky!

A cheap and easy way to keep children entertained in the holidays!

A brilliant end to the term with the Captain Fantastic party yesterday - great fun was had by all - highly recommend!

WOW! What fun we have had this week - decorating ice-cream cone cakes........a yoga class with Hannah Wing..........a visit from magician Robert Pound, who also made balloon aliens and butterflies for everyone....... and then a teddy bear's picnic in the sunshine!

Dont forget our summer sale on Wednesday 27th July 10am. Lots of toys, books and learning resources will be available

As we are fast approaching end of term, we wanted to share some of our favourite moments from the last few weeks!

Just look at our fabulous new mud kitchen, a huge thank you to one of our amazing dads for creating for us, it's sure to be a big hit with the children

Happy Easter everyone!!

A busy last week of term decorating our Easter hats and making yummy Easter treats, finishing with an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
