Our first Reception Starter Session is on Monday and for children starting at Watton Westfield School in September. We have just enough children for it to run but it would be amazing if we could get a few more children so that children and adults have lots of familiar faces to see when they arrive on their big day.

Siblings are welcome to come along too.

Please if you know anyone with a child starting at Watton Westfield in September can you share this with them or tag them in it.

Don't forget to book your 30 minute taster session tickets for our launch event on Sunday (9th August). We have sessions at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm. These sessions are only £1 a child.

School’s Out for Summer!

What a wonderful year we have had! Thank you to everyone who has helped us… parents, carers, staff, pupils, governors, volunteers and visitors… you are all amazing!

We are very proud of how far the children have come this year and are excited for their next adventures!

We hope you all have a lovely, well deserved, summer break. Stay safe and enjoy your family time together.

We look forward to seeing our new and returning children when we reopen on Thursday 3rd September.

We are excited to let you know that on Tuesday 14th July, the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be taking part in a colour run on the school field.

This will take place during the afternoon and will be an opportunity for the children to run and have some fun with their friends before the end of the school year.

Unfortunately parents are not able to attend this event, due to the number of children taking part.

We are asking that all children come to school wearing a plain white t-shirt (it will be covered in paint by the end of the day!), some dark shorts, socks and trainers. They will also need a pair of sunglasses or some swimming goggles to protect their eyes from the paint.

Our Colour Run is being supported by some volunteers from Watton Junior Parkrun. This takes place every Sunday morning at 9am at Watton Sports Centre, and is for children aged 4-14. Please take a look at their website https://www.parkrun.org.uk/wattonsportscentre-juniors/ for more information. It would be wonderful if some of the children from Westfield started attending Junior Parkrun on a regular basis.

We are not asking for sponsorship for this event, but if any parents would like to make a donation to the PTA any money raised will be used to fund resources for our OPAL playtimes. We will have a collection box in Reception.
