JUNIOR UPDATE

It's only Wednesday but we've already had three games this week so far.

On Monday our U11s lost to Wombwell Main in a very good game - with Sam W the outstanding player.

On the same day our U17s also lost away at Cawthorne. James W top scored with 35.

Yesterday gave us better news as our U13s beat Monk Bretton with Lee C retiring on 30 and Joey A producing outstanding figures of 3/3 from 3 overs.

JUNIOR TRAINING!

Don't forget it's Friday - which means it's Junior Night!

We'll have our All Stars, Dynamos and all hard ball age groups as usual this evening. And don't forget the bar will be open for all you grown ups too!

Everyone is welcome from 5pm and enjoy your Friday evening....

Our U15s got soaked last night in the glorious British Summertime but still managed to emerge with the victory against Pen*stone.

Batting first at HQ we made 134/2 (Isaac W 44*, Joey W 43*, Will A 19*) and after a torrential downpour we restricted our visitors to 107/7 with the wickets shared.

Cracking effort everyone!

Unfortunately, tonight's U17 game at Barnsley Woolley has been cancelled 🌧

Our Under 13s beat Higham at HQ yesterday on a lovely sunny evening.

Our Visitors batted first and made 88, with Frankie B producing outstanding figures of 4/5 with four wickets in a single over! Sam W also took 2 wickets.

We replied with 90/2 with Heath J making 31* and Isaac S seeing us home with 15*. It's also nice to see Alex S doing what he does best - smashing 27 in just 22 balls.

Our Under 11s made the short trip to Elsecar last night and managed to not only beat the weather, but also won the game!

We restricted our hosts to 221 net, with 2 wickets each for Lily T and Eden D and then made net 256 in reply - with Reuben H top scoring with a net of 12*.

Top work Boys and Girls - and admin has promised to keep our Socials up to date moving forwards!
