The Little Learners Wembley!
This week our little learners learnt all about Winter. They extend their knowledge and understanding of change in the weather. They had the opportunity to learn new vocabulary related to the season, such as snow, ice, cold, snowman, snowflakes, and learnt the names of the some Arctic animals. They drew their own snowmen and created snowflakes with the paint brushes and chunky chalks to enhance their fine motor skills. They also witnessed how would a farm looks when it's snows, at the tuff tray.
Our frozen sensory tuff tray was excellent to develop their hand and eye coordination.

The Little Leaners Cricklewood
Anti bullying and disability week!
🧦 Odd Sock Day
In order to celebrate and embrace our differences, the children from the Little Learners Cricklewood wore different socks. The children showed everyone their lovely socks and listened to various stories about different cultures, ethnicities, physical differences and people with disabilities. This was a great opportunity for the children to be exposed to diversity, inclusion and tolerance.
👨🦽Disability Activity👩🦯
The children joined a group conversation lead by one of our teacher about different disabilities people can encounter. In order to understand more and put in practice what was discussed before, the children had the opportunity to wear a blindfold and walk towards the teacher by following the sound of her voice. The children then described how they felt about the experience. We ended the session by a lovely colouring activity.
At the Little Learners Cricklewood, we are proud to include everyone in all of our activities and events we organise, no matter what their background, disability, religion or ethnicity are.

The children are busy learning about their local community and all the different services we have to help us. They had fun creating their different pictures, which they then placed in envelopes, put a stamp on and took to the nearby postbox to have them sent. The children showed great understanding of what postboxes are for, who collects and delivers the letters, and learnt about why do we need to put a stamp on to the envelopes.
We can't wait for our next exploration of our local community! Who knows where we are visiting next? 😊

Happy Halloween! 🎃The children had SO much fun exploring all of our spooky and exciting Halloween activities.
In Children's House we enjoyed a special Halloween themed yoga session, a spectacularly mysterious tuff tray, carving out a pumpkin and made scrumptious cupcakes. Just to top up all these fun activities we finished the day off with a Halloween dance off with colourful lights and balloons.
Our Infant Community also enjoyed a special dance party, loads of arts and crafts activities and of course the spooky tuff tray. 👻
As all of our children looked amazing, we had to have a special photoshoot as an addition to all these amazing activities!
