Overwhelm doesn’t always look the same.
Sometimes it’s in your head - too many thoughts, too much mental noise
Sometimes it’s in your body - you feel tense, emotional, flat or on edge
Sometimes it’s in your day - too much to do, too many demands, no space
A helpful way to notice the difference is to ask Where is this overwhelm showing up most right now?

🌎 Or in my day
Write down everything that’s swirling around your brain. A quick brain dump for two minutes.
If the page is full of worries, replaying and overthinking, your mind may need some space.
If it’s full of feelings, frustrations or heaviness, you may need to slow things down and regulate before doing anything else.
If it’s mostly tasks, lists and pressure, you may need to simplify and decide what really matters today.
The more you notice your own patterns, the easier it becomes to respond in a way that actually helps.
Head, body or day. One small check-in tells you a lot.

Emotions are there to tell you something - not to take over.
