Attachment is the bond we form as a child, usually with a parent / caregiver. As we develop, we bring this attachment style into how we bond in our adulthood relationships.

When a relationship ends there is no need to regret the time you and your ex spent together. Use your experience as a life lesson.

The first month of being single as a result of a relationship ending is always the hardest month. Your routine changes, your mourning the loss of the relationship and it’s ok not to be ok! Please remember you are only human and because you have the ability to love, you also have the ability to hurt.
An important point to remember is that pain is temporary, this too shall pass.
Allow yourself to have down days at the beginning. The voice we hear the most is the voice in our own mind. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself time to mourn the relationship. Unfortunately you cannot rush to process.
Everyday you will get stronger. Remember, the first month may seem impossible at first, but you will be ok! You have to ride the wave. Once that first month is behind you, there will be no stopping you on this journey.
