RAF Hendon- From iconic WWII legends like the Spitfire and Lancaster bomber to massive Cold War jets and modern supersonic aircraft, we explored the massive hangars packed with history and incredible stories from the skies. We were able to try on uniform and walk the inside of a real plane. We asked lots of questions and even found a Lego trail.

We took our rocket launchers to the field and had great fun seeing how high they flew. We then worked as a team to gather them up and put them back onto the launchers so we could continue our gos.

We went to Cassiobury park and saw the ducks, we played in the park and then watched the locks being opened and closed for two boats to carry on with their journey. We then took a wander down the canals to see if we could see any more boats. We spotted a white duck and one Nestling said " it's a princess duck, it's not a queen one as it hasn't got a crown"

We played football and then practiced our climbing skills. We went very high in the tree. We also had a furry friend come to watch us play.

We took our paints and our brushes down to the woods and painted in the cool shade. We then found some feathers and experimented with what would happen if we painted them. We found feathers made for a stunning picture

We celebrated not one, not two but three special birthdays today. 🎂🎉🎂🎉🎂What a lovely day with all our friends partying the day away. Hope you all had an amazing birthday party

We worked together to make the rocket lunch. We angled it in different ways to see which ways it would fly. We then ran to catch the rockets and bring them back for our friends.
