That’s a wrap on WonderWorks Holiday Club for another year and we miss it already! 🎭

We created, interpreted, played, watched, directed and built and WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! Thank you to all of the families and children who joined us this year and made it so special, it was truly a blast 🚀

Same time next year! ☀️

P.S. If you’d like to be added to our mailing list for the next Holiday Club drop us a DM or send us an email 📧

Last week in a special edition of our monthly Film Family Lunch, children from our nursery, together with children from our Summer Holiday Club, went and met their families to enjoy lunch together at The Hangar Cafe 🫶 some even got a little peak at the workshop, stage or office where their grown-ups work! 🏢

As we celebrate ✨National Week of Play✨ this week, it feels like the perfect opportunity to reflect on just how powerful play really is.

At The WonderWorks, play is not something that happens around the curriculum – it is a fundamental part of it 🧸

Through play, children test theories, explore possibilities, solve problems, build relationships, express themselves, develop resilience and make sense of the world around them 💚

Play is where children apply what they know, discover what they don’t know and develop the confidence to keep trying…

Every tower built, story told, den created, muddy puddle jumped in and role-play scenario acted out has incredible value🪁

We are so incredibly proud to share this news: WonderWorks is now a certified and part of a global movement working to benefit people and the planet 🎉🎉🎉

This certification is a huge milestone for us, and it means the world to be recognised in this way. But more importantly, it reflects something that has always mattered: building a nursery that genuinely cares about people, and looks after the world our little ones are growing up in 🌎🧡

This creates a vicious cycle: no childcare means turning down work, which means less income, which means less ability to pay for childcare. Breaking this cycle requires industry-wide support, and investment. And…it’s why we exist!
