During snack time today, the children had the opportunity to practise their cutting skills safely, ensuring their workspace was tidy. We also discussed whether the fruits they selected were hard or soft to cut, promoting their understanding.

Another busy week of learning, exploring and playing at The Barn Preschool!

We’ve been busy little learners
We built our very own “Spinnaker Town”, Followed step-by-step instructions to make paper boats and explored floating and sinking, Enjoyed lots of wonderful stories, Challenged ourselves with puzzles, Discovered watercolours and experimented with mixing colours to create new ones, Baked some yummy treats with Hayley
…and of course, lots and lots of child-led play, exploring and having fun!

Another week full of curiosity, creativity and learning through play to come — just how we like it at The Barn! 🌿

Not your usual summer holidays… but then, it never is at The Barn! 😂💪🏼

Thank you to everyone who came along to our picnic today! ☀️

🏀🌞 What an Amazing End to the Year! 🌭🎉

Our annual BBQ was yet fantastic! Sports theme this year and was fun to kick and bat some balls about.

The famous cheese burgers went down a treat as well as the hotdogs - the comments every year of how amazing the burgers are 👌. so a very big shoutout to Steve and Tam for cooking and serving up all the delicious food.

Special shoutout: Hayley, Emmy and Maileigh keeping the food restocked and ensuring the event ran so smoothly! The tattoos and face paints where spot on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Also a huge thank you to everyone who came along and for your continued support throughout the year. ❤️

As a very small setting, we truly feel so lucky to have such an amazing and dedicated team here at The Barn and a community that feels more like family. Events like our anual BBQ remind us how special that really is.

🎓 To our wonderful little graduates, we hope you have the best time as you begin your next chapter at big school! Your mini graduation was simply lovely, and you all sang so beautifully. 🥰

We wish everyone a happy, fun-filled summer break!
