We were very proud to support The Village Bakery & Café breakfast club. Seeing the children bring in their boxes with such excitement and kindness was incredibly special 🥰

Following the recent news we are aware of some concern regarding the reports of a strain of Strep A. If your child is displaying any of the symptoms described please seek immediate medical advice from 111 or your GP and keep your child at home to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.

To help protect your little ones we advise regular hand washing with soap and warm water, encouraging covering of mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, keeping children at home if they feel unwell.

Woodside Nursery School is set within 1.5 acres of beautiful woodland surroundings. It is conveniently located only 200 yards from the London Road in Purbrook and is accessed via its own private drive.

We provide the highest quality child care for children aged three months to five years within a happy and stimulating learning environment. Our warm, welcoming and safe surroundings aim to meet all children's needs and parent's expectations.

Our nursery school has three separate departments fully equipped for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Each of these is subdivided to give various combinations of room sizes and activities.

If nurseries are shut down in view of Covid-19, the Government should set up an emergency fund to ensure their survival and ensure that parents are not charged the full fee by the nurseries to keep children's places.

CORONAVIRUS ACTION PLAN- IMPORTANT UPDATE

Dear Parent/Carers

We are aware that, as part of the Government’s Coronavirus action plan, options include the possibility of closing childcare settings in order to reduce the spread of infection.

If the Government does require Woodside to close at any time, we will alert families of this immediately on Tapestry, our page or via our voicemail.

Woodside will stay open as usual, which we will do until directed otherwise. The nursery will advise you if this changes and of any further information as it is made available.

In the meantime, we would politely ask that parents/carers do not contact the nursery regarding this issue, but please check Tapestry, our page or our voicemail for updates.
