Missing several mortgage payments does not mean you'll lose your home.
Taking your home should be your lender's last resort.

There are steps you can take to get back on track. For example, you can:
- work with a debt adviser on paying as much as you can
- ask to go on the breathing space scheme, which stops any court action while you get debt help
- look at options to extend your mortgage to make payments easier

Your lender should work with you to make sure everything is done to help you keep your home.
