What a fun-filled day we've had today! 😊
The children have been busy exploring a variety of activities that supported their fine motor development, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
🔑 We enjoyed keyring making, carefully threading and choosing colours, helping to strengthen hand-eye coordination and finger control.
🧱 The children got creative with Duplo, building imaginative structures while developing their spatial awareness and teamwork skills.
🏖️ Kinetic sand was a big hit, providing a wonderful sensory experience and encouraging squeezing, moulding, and shaping movements that strengthen little hands.
✂️ Our spaghetti cutting tuff tray activity was fantastic for developing scissor skills and hand strength. The children enjoyed snipping the spaghetti into smaller pieces, building confidence and control while having lots of fun.
🎨 We explored a fun painting activity using bubble wrap and paint, creating colourful patterns and textures.
🐻 The children practised their colour recognition and sorting skills with our colour bear sorting activity, matching and organising the bears by colour.
🍓 Strawberry and rhubarb pie preparation time, the children helped with strawberry cutting, carefully using knifes to develop their independence, concentration, and fine motor skills.
A wonderful day full of learning through play, creativity, and lots of opportunities to strengthen those all-important fine motor skills! 💕✋
