We have enjoyed a morning exploring at the beach. We had fun throwing stones into the sea and finding the perfect rock to decorate with our ‘special pens’. Perfect mark making activity for busy boys 🤩

We’ve had a very autumnal week 🍂
We have all enjoyed finding lots of conkers and other autumn treasures this week which lead nicely into creating some lovely conker paintings to take home. We’ve also had fun feeding the ducks and meeting up with our friends to enjoy lots of uninterrupted outdoor play 🤩

We enjoyed watching our caterpillars transform into butterflies these last few weeks so to follow on from this we took a trip to the butterfly house to see which other butterflies we could spot 🦋 There were so many different kinds to see!
And it wouldn’t be a trip to Southsea without a quick splash in the sea 🌊

We learned some names of birds we might spot on our walks or in the garden in a painting activity 🎨
We then headed off into the woods to see which birds we could spot 🔍
We finally finished off our morning by making bird feeders to take home to hang in our gardens 🌳
