I really need to get better at posting!

Last week the Cubs went to Keydell to do the enchanted walk and spent a lovely sunny morning at Sam's Sunflowers, exploring and choosing a sunflower each.

We have a new friend starting with us next week, which we are very excited about 😁

Last week was National Storytelling week. We had tea with a tiger, went for a trip to the library (of course) and explored a "We're going on a bear hunt" tray. O played along to the story and L, J and our new friend R explored the sensory components, experienced new language and identified parts of the bear.

Happy New Year from the Little Cubs!

It was our first day back today and both O and J settled back really well! They used paint dabbers to make colourful 2026 pictures and used their fine motor skills scooping, pouring and handling the "crumble" (that was meant to be playdough 😅).

Flower play at Little Cubs today 🌻

The Cubs painted their own sunflower pictures using a real flower as reference. I then used them, and some other flowers to let the Cubs explore in a tuff tray. We named some parts of the flowers and used scissors to practice some fine motor skills.
