DEPUTY MANAGER/EARLY YEARS PRACTIONER LEVEL 3
We are seeking a Qualified Level 3 Early Years Deputy Manager/ Practitioner to join our small but fantastic team from September 2026 on a permanent contract. The successful professional will be expected to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social interaction and education for our pre-school children, and be passionate about delivering high quality childcare. Monday-Friday, termtime only 8.30am-3.30pm Salary £13.20 per hour 39 weeks per year pro rota DBS on the update service essential but can be reapplied for if the successful candidate has lapsed Paediatric First Aid certificate essential but the successful candidate can be retrained if current certification has expired.
All other essential training including safeguarding ,Food hygiene, prevent duty etc can be obtained once the successful applicant starts.
Complying with the DBS legal safeguarding statutory requirements, 2 satisfactory references (one from your recent employer) essential and non negotiable to enable the successful candidate to be considered for the role.
Ongoing training to enhance your knowledge and qualifications in Early Years.
As a small pre-school the role is split in two. If successful you will be keyworker to a small group of children and some managerial roles as Deputy Manager.
You must have full knowledge of the EYFS, knowledge of managerial roles including, staff ratios, Health and Safety, safeguarding, curriculum planning, EYPP and least 1-2 years experience as a deputy manager. More than anything you must be passionate, flexible, loyal, keen to learn and a team player.
