📐 Maths Skill of the Week! 🧮

Fractions don’t have to be confusing! 😊

Shining a spot light on our historians for September!

Historian of the month for September are as follows:

Harry H - has had the most wonderful start to Washington Academy. His passion for history (in particular the Vikings!) is inspirational. Harry is not afraid of any historical debate, even with Miss Atkinson! So proud and excited to see how you progress!

Leah H - Miss Teasdale didn’t hesitate for a second to nominate Leah H. Leah’s extended writing, confidence and love for history has been incredibly rewarding to see!

Isobel M - has had the best start to GCSE history. The effort Isobel puts in to her studies is remarkable and we’re so proud of her.

Mason D - what a Y11 superstar Mason is! Miss Atkinson couldn’t be more proud and thankful of the relentless effort Mason has put in. From reading historian scholarship, giving answers or extended writing he’s given 110% to it all. Well done Mason!
