🌱 Year 1 Farm Visit 🐄

Our Year 1 class had a fantastic day at the farm last week! The children helped care for the animals, learned about the importance of plants and grass on the farm, and explored different plants and trees around the site.

To finish the day, they planted their own grass seeds to take home and enjoyed a creative grass painting activity. 🌿🎨

A wonderful day of hands-on learning and outdoor exploration! 😊

💛 Wear Yellow Day Success! 💛

Our school community came together to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by taking part in a Wear Yellow Day and bake sale.

We are delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our pupils, staff, and families, we raised an amazing £235 for this fantastic cause!

A huge thank you to everyone who wore yellow, donated, baked, bought treats, and helped make the day such a success. Your support will help the Cystic Fibrosis Trust continue its vital work supporting people living with cystic fibrosis and funding life-changing research.

Well done, everyone – a wonderful example of our school community making a difference! 💛

Our Reception class had the most wonderful day at Exmoor Farm School, exploring animal life cycles and discovering the important roles of farmers in rural life. Little hands, big learning, and lots of muddy boots — the perfect combination for curious minds.🚜🐷🐑

💛 Wear Yellow for a Great Cause! 💛

We’re inviting all children to come to school in their sports kit, with a splash of yellow, to support the amazing work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

This could be anything from yellow socks or a top to hair accessories – get creative and have fun showing your support! 🌟

We would be very grateful for a £1 donation for taking part, with all proceeds going towards this important cause.

Station Class have been exploring the theme of ‘New Life’ 🐣

Our children have had the wonderful opportunity to observe incubated eggs hatching and learn all about the life cycle of a chicken. They have been carefully keeping chick journals, documenting changes each day, and developing their understanding of how to care for these new arrivals.

It’s been a fantastic hands-on learning experience for everyone involved!
