🌟 We’re excited to announce that OPAL is coming to our school! 🌟
We are delighted to share that we are starting our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey at Emscote Infant School! 🎉🌳
OPAL is all about giving our children the opportunity to enjoy high-quality, creative and adventurous play every day. We want to create an exciting outdoor environment where children can use their imagination, take appropriate risks, develop friendships, build confidence and, most importantly, have lots of fun! 🛝🪵💦🎨
Over the coming months, you may notice some exciting changes to our outdoor spaces as we begin to develop new play opportunities for our children.
We would love our whole school community to get involved! If you have any unwanted items that could be used for imaginative play (such as crates, boxes, tubes, fabric, kitchen utensils, tyres or other safe, clean household items), we would be very grateful for donations and would like to start collecting these after half term.♻️💚
We can’t wait to see where our OPAL journey takes us and, most importantly, to see our children playing, exploring, creating and having fun outdoors! 🌈
Thank you for your continued support! 💕

Our infant children have been busy creating their very own Playground Charter! We thought about the UNICEF Rights of the Child and Article 31🌟

They shared their ideas about how we can make our playground a happy, safe and respectful place for everyone to enjoy. We’re so proud of their thoughtful ideas and the way they’ve taken ownership of making our school a positive place to be. 💛

Take a look at their fantastic charter below! 👇

🌞 A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our belated PTA Summer Fayre!🎪

It was lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves and making the most of the afternoon. We were very lucky that the weather stayed dry — although it was a little on the chilly side! 🥶☀️

A massive thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to help make the event happen, and to all of the companies and local businesses who generously donated goods, prizes and their time to support us. We are incredibly grateful for your support. 💛

And, of course, a particular highlight had to be the Human Fruit Machine!🍎🍌🍊

Did you win??🎰😂

Thank you once again to everyone who came along, helped out, donated and supported our school community. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️
