BAG2SCHOOL TUESDAY 5TH MARCH!

Once again we'll be raising funds through the Bag2School scheme. You can recycle any unwanted clothing, paired shoes, handbags, belts & accessories (please no uniforms, work-wear, pillows, duvets, bedding, curtains, soft toys or pieces of fabric).

Simply fill as many bin bags as you can and drop them at Playgroup by 9am on Tuesday 5th March (please don't bring them before as we have nowhere to store them!).

A great reason to have a sort out and help us raise funds 👏

As you may know, Kineton Playgroup Ltd is a charitable company. As all charities, it relies on volunteers taking on formal and informal roles to continue to operate.

The more formal roles involve people forming a functioning Board of Directors and Trustees. Playgroup cannot run without a Board and we rely on people volunteering to ensure it can continue to provide such a vital and important service to the children in the local area. We’re a very friendly bunch and it is an incredibly rewarding thing to be a part of!

If you would like to support Playgroup in a more informal role, we are always working hard to come up with new fundraising ideas. If you would like to get involved in supporting our crucial fundraising activities, please let us know. We would love to get a group of willing volunteers together who can help organise and run fundraising events.

With all the current illness around, please be aware of symptoms. And remember if your child is unwell with a fever or in need of calpol, they should be kept at home to minimise the spreading of infection.

At 1pm on 14 October we will be attending a Harvest Festival service at St. Peter’s Church.

We are very excited about our little trip! All those attending the afternoon session will be going but we do require some more hands for the walk, so if you can help please let us know as soon as possible.

If your child doesn’t normally attend this session but you would like to join in, you are more than welcome to meet us at the church.

There will be a donations box outside of playgroup next week so please feel free to add to it. We would love to fill it with fresh fruits and vegetables if possible and bonus points for home grown!

Polite notice to be allergy aware.

We have a no nut policy and this includes ANY nut products. As a precaution we also ask that you do not put chocolate spread on your child’s sandwich as we cannot guarantee it is in fact nut free.

Please also be mindful that we have a fish allergy within the setting and ask that you refrain from having these products in lunchboxes.
