Has your child ever said, “I can’t do it,” even after trying?

Sometimes, it is not that they are not capable.

Sometimes, their brain is simply full.

This week’s theme is listening to your body.

In Helen’s reflection, she talks about enjoying a full-on learning session, but then realising her brain needed space, movement, fresh air and time to let everything settle.

That matters in learning too.

Children do not always understand things the moment they are taught. Sometimes they need time for the learning to make sense. They may need a pause, a calmer moment, a different explanation, or the chance to come back to it without feeling rushed.
