每年四五月，英國遍地開花，風景優美，而且這兩個月的天氣通常都很好，是飛行訓練的最佳日子。

夜間飛行 - 秋後再續
Night flight - Last flight before summer.

根據英國民航局定義，夜間飛行為日落後30分鐘至日出前30分鐘之間的飛行活動。駕駛艙用紅燈照明因為紅燈對飛行員的夜視能力影響較少。對夜間飛行有興趣的朋友，我們的夜間飛行資格訓練會在11月繼續進行，歡迎聯絡及查詢。

In the UK, flights operating between 30 minutes after sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise are considered as night flight. As mentioned in previous post, the cockpit is fitted with red light as red light has least impact to pilots night vision. For pilots interested in night flight, out night rating training will come back in November. Please contact us if you are interested.

飛機的油缸在機翼，在每次起飛前，飛行員都需要計算機程所需的油量。在South Warwickshire Flying School我們更加要求學員學習自己為飛機加油，讓學員更加了解飛機的每一個細節。

The fuel tank is located in the wing of the aircraft. Pilots needs to calculate the quantity of fuel required for the flight before each take off. In South Warwickshire Flying School we make our student pilots to fill up their own tank, so that they would have better knowledge about each details of their aircraft.

夜間飛行：為什麼駕駛艙的燈是紅色？這是因為燈光會影響機行員的夜視能力，而紅光對眼睛影響最小。夜間飛行需要特別的技巧去應付紅光下的駕駛艙及無光的機外環境，飛行員需要進行一連串的訓練去獲取夜間飛行資格。

Night flight: Why is the cockpit red? We use red light during night flight as light can affect the pilot's night vision, and red light has least impact to it. Operating a flight in reduced light in the cockpit and outside require a lot of special techniques, therefore special training is necessary for the Night Rating qualification.

今天 South Warwickshire Flying School 為學員提供了一些晚間飛行訓練，隨著冬天的結束，晚間時越來越短，晚間飛行的機會快將結束。春天來臨後要等到11月才會再有晚間飛行的機會。

South Warwickshire Flying School每年都為英國皇家空軍訓練青年cadet，是一間水準非常高的飛行學校。

There have been some night flights tonight in South Warwickshire Flying School, a flying school which trains cadet pilots for Royal Air Force Every year.

As winter is going, nights are becoming shorter and there will be less chance for night flight. Night flying activities will come back in November.
