It was lovely to be back teaching my Tuesday social class this morning. We made some tagliatelle from scratch and a tomato sauce.
Everyone loved the taste of fresh pasta 😋
The Nourish and Flourish project in Stratford upon Avon is such a lovely place. I've been providing demos with their produce for a number of years and it's been great to see the garden develop.

Eldest back up to uni today. Always get a request to take some freshly made bread. Made sourdough rolls so she can pop some in the freezer. Glad to see she's getting her veggies in too 😁 love a WhatsApp dinner pic!
When I was at uni my mum always packed some frozen cottage pies and an apple pie.
Do you have any memories of been sent on your way with a favourite meal?

Spent a lovely afternoon at at Lifespace in Stratford.
There are not many veggies ready yet but harvested garlic and herbs.
I was at The Gap this morning and picked up a few bits from the community Pantry...cauliflower, raw beetroot, and a stale ciabatta.
I fried off a chopped onion, cauliflower, red pepper, ginger, and garlic with some garam masala and turmeric.
While it was cooking I soaked some cous cous in stock and herbs.
Some of the cauliflower mix was added to the cous cous and the rest used in an omelette.
The beetroot was grated and lightly fried with cumin seeds. This went down particularly well!.
The ciabatta was cut into cubes and fried with garlic 😋

I love heritage tomatoes, they tend to have more flavour and look really pretty in a salad.
This year I've scooped out the seeds. I'm going to dry them out and keep them to grow tomatoes for next year.
The price of seeds have really gone up the last few years.
I've lost alot of my seeds over the winter. I think some moisture got into the box and had an infestation of some kind of grub.

People always ask me 'do you eat takeaways?'
As a general rule, no I don't but its hard to create a really good proper fish and chips, and well it's just the law when you're at the beach.
Today it's and I can't think of a better place to be eating some!
Thanks to in Barnmouth
I've been in Wales all week, and these last few hours have been the longest the sun has been out.
