🦖🥚 Frozen Dino Egg Play this week! 🥚🦖

The little ones have been working hard to free their dinosaurs from their frozen eggs using HAMMERS! 🔨

This is a great example of risky play — giving children the opportunity to use real tools in a safe, supported environment, while learning about cause and effect, building confidence, developing hand strength and coordination, problem solving and learning to manage a little bit of risk for themselves. And my goodness has it been noises in class this week with all the hammering!! 😆

There’s so much more to my sessions than messy play! Every activity is carefully thought through to support your little one’s development while giving them the freedom to explore, investigate and have FUN! Mostly focusing on fine motor skills and all the skills needed to build up to independent tasks.

🎂 Birthday parties!! 🎂

Whether it’s a weekly session or a birthday party, I LOVE making the most of amazing textures and sensory experiences!

This was my chocolate bog for a very special Room on the Broom/Gruffalo themed birthday party this weekend! 🧙‍♀️🌳

So much preparation, thought and care goes into every session I create. From making and sourcing the sensory materials to designing activities that little ones can really get stuck into, I want you to feel like you’re getting so much from your time with me!

And now… onto Nov/Dec! 🎄

Spaces are filling VERY quickly and some sessions are already SOLD OUT!

It’s a 6-week term packed full of festive fun, wonderful themes and even the return of the SNOW MACHINE! ❄️

There are sessions for little ones from 6 months to 5 years, and sibling pairings can join together in my 10:00am sessions. Plus, siblings receive 50% off!

🦖 DINOSAUR WEEK IS HERE! 🦕

And WOW… we have some roarsome invitations to play this week!

So many amazing textures, opportunities to explore and lots of hands-on messy play — all carefully created to encourage little ones to learn, explore and develop through play.

We’re working on SO many skills this week, from fine motor and grasping skills to sensory exploration, mark making, problem solving, communication and independent play.

And of course… plenty of dinosaur fun along the way! 🦕🦖

Classes are for little ones from 6 months to 5 years, with sessions running Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Tuff Trays and my BIG boxes of sensory exploration are my speciality!

Creating beautiful, engaging invitations to play is something I take very seriously. It really is an art — getting the content right for development and learning, while also making it look SO inviting that little ones just have to have a go!

I’ve been designing and delivering sessions for nearly 9 years now, and one thing I’ve learnt time and time again…

✨ Children LOVE returning to a tidy, reset station. It simply looks more inviting!

That’s why I’m constantly resetting, refreshing and creating opportunities for little ones to explore, investigate and get stuck in.

💙 BLUEY BIRTHDAY PARTY 💙

Oh my… did they ALL get stuck in! 😍

What a fabulous bunch of little ones — exploring, squishing, scooping, splashing and getting stuck into all those wonderful textures! There was plenty to discover and lots of little hands getting busy.

And of course, we had a wonderful time with the parachute too! So much excitement, giggles and teamwork. 💙 The birthday girl certainly enjoyed the parachute!!

It was such a lovely party to be part of, and I absolutely loved creating a special, messy Bluey celebration for them!

I absolutely love this part of what I do — creating all the little details, getting everything ready and knowing that I’m helping families celebrate such a special milestone.

It really is a true honour to be trusted to create these memories for you and your little ones. ❤️

🌙 What do you think I’ve been making ALL week?!

Moon dust… aka cloud dough! ✨
There’s something so satisfying about squishing, squeezing, scooping and moulding this soft, fluffy sensory material — and it’s brilliant for getting those little hands working too. 💪

Perfect for strengthening those fingers, building fine motor skills and encouraging little ones to explore textures at their own pace. (You know I am obsessed with fine motor skills!!)

And just look at it… 🌙✨
