Save the date… Halloween 👻 🎃🧙‍♀️🔮🎉

Join us on the evening of Thursday 20th October for a fun filled Halloween evening 🎃

There will be games, face glitter, tattoo’s, drinks, snacks and music from DJ Lyons 🎶🎤

Tickets will be available on the door for £1

Entry from 5:30 - 7pm

EYFS and KS1 parents to accompany children for duration of disco. KS2 do not require an adult to stay.

Woodloes Pumpkin competition!

All you need to do...
Have fun carving/painting a pumpkin .
Upload a photo of your creation to our page. Just tell us your first name. first LETTER of your surname and your year group please.
Wait patiently until the first assembly, when Mr Mitchell will announce the winners. One winner per year group.

Teachers, don’t feel left out you can play too. If you celebrate Halloween then show us your pumpkin too!

Put your pyjamas/onesies on and join us at school on Wednesday 11th March for film night!!

We are excited to show the film ‘Toy Story’ - with drinks and yummy popcorn included 🍿

Entrance to the event will be by ‘ticket’ and a suggested donation of £2.50 😊

Please return your ticket and money back to school no later than Tuesday 10th March.

Huge thank you to all those who donated cakes and to the parent helpers who made the Book Cafe such a success today! Everyone had a lovely time and we've managed to raise around £300!

We have lots of school uniform available for a donation to Friends this week. Don't miss your chance to grab a bargain and do your bit to save the planet by reusing pre-worn uniform!
Available at the book fair after school every day this week or all day at the book cafe on Wednesday. All uniform in very good condition and has been washed!
Funds raised will go towards good causes at school for the benefit of all children.

We would like to say a very BIG thank you to everyone who helped out at the disco before half term. Thanks to your help the children had a wonderful time and we have raised over £1,000 which is absolutely fantastic 💷👍👏

Friends are now planning an exciting treat for the children before school breaks up for Christmas..... details to follow soon!! 🎄🎦 🍿

As advised in the newsletter last week, Friends are holding a disco on Thursday 24th October and will be sending out full details shortly. Children are invited to dress up in ‘Halloween’ theme if they want to!

Saplings/Reception/KS1 4.30pm to 5.30pm
KS2 5.45pm to 6.45pm.

Meanwhile, we are looking for volunteers. If you can help in any way, please let Mrs Valentine or Miss Lyons (in Year One) know.
