Are you looking for help with the Public Health RANRA test?

(This is the maths test part of applying for Public Health Specialty Training)

As an experienced maths tutor (since 2013), I have helped many adults prepare for the RANRA test (usually taken in early January).

My students often express surprise at how much knowledge they are expected to take this test. It involves having a firm grasp of maths fundamentals, and the *confidence* to know how to answer a question at speed.

I have a checklist of resources that I use, tailored for each student. Whether it's taking you right back to the fundamentals, or help with brushing up to be able to interpret and answer the ‘Comparison of Data’ / ‘Sufficiency of Data’ questions.

As we get closer to the test date, I work with students through various example RANRA questions (e.g. from JobTestPrep site) to work on strategies for answering questions as quickly and effectively as possible.

Don't leave it too late to get started, especially if you are a bit rusty with your maths - make a start to build on what you already know.
