Affirmation, mantra, repetition of a phrase - call it what you like but when vulnerability comes, when anxiety hits what this is the most healing way to proceed.
From years of my own experience of dissociation, of pushing through, not feeling and ignoring. I know how all this just creates resistance, pain, anxiety, panic, overwhelm, increased fear. It does not heal.
To heal you need to look in the face of the fear and vulnerability with kindness and compassion. Offer yourself care and reassurance.

Embodiment practice is the process of feeling safe in your body.
Feeling your body rather than being numb.
