🌟🚲 It’s been a very busy week for children in Y5 and 6 who have been taking part in Bikeability training. We have had a group of children learning to ride a bike for the first time and other groups who have been learning how to ride safely on the roads. All children have gained greatly in confidence and achieved their certificates. The bikeability trainers also mentioned what a pleasure it was to work with our children as they were so engaged and polite. Well done all round! 🌟🚲

🏑 Some of our Y5 children took part in a hockey workshop at Warwick School this morning. After some training, they took part in a competition against other local schools and came in third place! Not only did they play brilliantly but they were an absolute pleasure to take to the event, showing excellent sporting attitudes, supporting and encouraging one another. Well done, we are very proud of you! 🏑🏅👏☀️

⚽️ Our Y6 football team played their first game of the season after school yesterday. They played away at Barford St.Peter’s and despite ultimately losing the match, they played well for a large proportion of the game. Well done boys! ⚽️

🌟 It was a beautiful day for the first race of the Central Warwickshire primary schools cross country season, which took place at Hatton Country World this morning. This year, in addition to races for Years 5 and 6, races were offered for years 3 and 4 and it was wonderful to see so many of our children from across school enthusiastically taking part. A huge well done to all of them. 👏 🏃‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

Big thanks also to Mrs Wilkins, our PE leader, for organising everything and to her, Mrs Will and Mr Gammon for being there this morning to cheer everyone on! 🌟
