This morning we visited the Herbert Art Gallery. They have a lovely range of interactive areas and some wellbeing rooms.
The children loved finding a beanbag to relax on with some calming music and pictures ✨️
We enjoyed the beneath the sea exhibition area, exploring light, making music, exploring tunnels, finding treasure and practicing our climbing 🪻
Everyone loved to see Dippy the Dinosaur too 🦕

An outdoor kitchen can offer so many learning opportunities from colour mixing, gross and fine motor skills, sharing, sizes, weights, natural exploration, numbers and that's just a few 🫣😂
We love mixing up the items and resources available for the children to explore and its always popular with all ages 🌸
Today we played SAFARI 🦁🐵🐼🦉
The children sat in sheltered areas with binoculars, cameras and magnifying glasses as they watched a variety of animals come out to explore, have a drink from the watering hole and interact with them and each other 🐆
Katie narrated the safari watch and shared interesting facts about the different animals for the children offering a fun, interactive learning experience 🐒
And yes, Kyle, Shannon and Arya had to pretend to be different animals, rolling, crawling, galloping and hopping around 😂
Afterwards the children enjoyed using the animal masks to reenact the animal safari fun 🌞

A few from a shorter visit to Compton Verney this morning, some of the children enjoyed joining in with the free art activities too - mark making with a twist 🎨
Lots of new ways to explore and new tools to use, that we wouldn't of thought of!
We enjoyed climbing, building, mark making, exploring the sensory garden, listening to grasshoppers, using the pull along boat and smelling the flowers 🌺🏵🪻

Today we had the best adventure at Cotswolds Wildlife Park 🐫
We got to see lots of different animals, explore the lovely grounds, play at the play area and ride on the train 🚆
It was the first time we have been and its safe to say everyone had lots of fun ✨️
We will definitely have to visit again since in the 5 hours we were there, we didn't quite manage to see all the animals 😱

We enjoyed a lovely visit to Draycote Water today, exploring the play park before heading off for a stroll and bike ride around the reservoir 🦆
We seen lots of ducks and birds around the area and even seen some diggers working and driving past. The builders waved and beeped to the children each time they seen them which was super exciting for us 👋
Some of our biggies enjoyed a little bike race down the path too 🚴♂️
