Our next staff wellbeing reading group book is Frostquake by Juliet Nicolson, exploring "how the frozen winter of 1962 changed Britain forever".
"From poets to pop stars, shopkeepers to schoolchildren, and her own family's experiences, Juliet Nicolson traces the hardship of that frozen winter and the emancipation that followed. That spring, new life was unleashed, along with freedoms we take for granted today."
You can borrow a copy from the Education Centre Library now, and we'll meet on Teams on Thursday 23rd November at 1pm to share what we all thought. If you'd like to take part, email [email protected] or call extension 4287.
