The Sainsbury’s online club has become the Sainsbury’s face to face club. One word thriving. Made it to their meeting this week and it was impressive to see how effortlessly they have transferred their skills.

Wow! Last night saw the second of our new online speakers club and three fantastic speeches. All three speakers have a great deal to offer to the speaking world and demonstrated a range of public speaking talents. It was impressive and inspiring stuff.

But don't let that put you off. You do not have to be a good speaker to come to our meetings. We welcome speakers of all abilities, and our more experienced members support and encourage our less experienced speakers with helpful, hands-on, and above all else, kind advice!

So, whether you dread and fear public speaking or love it, we would love to meet you, and if you haven't got a club near you, why not join this online club? Details of the next meeting will be published soon.

The next meeting of our new online Speakers Club is on 21st July at 7.30 pm.

This is a fantastic way to improve your public speaking skills in a really supportive and friendly environment. It's suitable for anyone, whatever your experience, and although public speaking can feel daunting, we make it painless and fun!

Congratulations to our National Secretary, Michael Cox, who has just received a first class honours degree in history from Durham! A phenomenal achievement on top of all the work he does for the ASC! Well done! ⭐️⭐️

This week, we are launching a new online speakers club for those of you who are overseas or don't have a club in your area. And we'd love it if you could join us.

What will it be like? Well, our speakers clubs are a fantastic place to learn, improve and practice your public speaking skills in a safe & friendly environment with lots of support and helpful advice. Anyone of any ability is welcome. It's also a chance to find out more about who we are, what we do & how we do it.
