The past couple of days have been full of lots of Christmas fun. We had Christmas dinner & jumper day on Wednesday complete with crackers and party hats. We have enjoyed party games like pass the parcel and musical chairs. And today we have had a special visit from Santa who brought our children a Christmas present. 🎄🎅🏻🎄

Yesterday we had our Christmas trip to Buxton Opera House to watch the Aladdin pantomime. 🧞‍♂️ The children had lots of fun travelling on the minibus to get there and all enjoyed the funny and exciting performance.
The children were absolute superstars and sat and behaved beautifully throughout.⭐️
Thank you to all our nursery children and staff for a successful and fun Christmas outing. 🥰🎄

This week we have been learning all about Aladdin, ready for our trip to the theatre next week! 🤩

Our story of the week has been 'Jack and the Beanstalk' 🌱

The children have been learning about story sequencing, the characters and have created a new display board. We have learnt about size comparison and developed our fine motor skills through play-dough activities and building beanstalks in the 'clouds'. The children have also acted out the story on our 'Jack and the beanstalk' themed small world table.

We've had a great week growing and developing imaginations 🤩

Today the children are supporting Children in Need 🤩

We have joined school with their Pudsey assembly, been to the Pudsey shop and are enjoying some Children in Need activities. 🐻
