Lifestyle Cut diaries!!🥳
7 weeks in now…
3 to gooo!!
I’m not going to lie the first 2 weeks were a bit rocky, I wasn’t properly tracking my food, however I was still conscious, it’s not been a strict cut, it’s just been a slow and steady lifestyle cut🫶
I’m doing this cut to get down to my best performing physique, SO THAT I don’t feel slow, I don’t feel puffy, I don’t feel sluggish… and I also WANT to feel the most confidence in myself💫
However so far I’ve lose body fat off my⬇️
-2kg in bodyweight
-1.5cm in arms💪
-2cm chest🍒
-4cm waist⏳
-1cm glutes🍑
-2cm quads🦵
I’m happy with the rate it’s going, I didn’t want the cut to be drastically fast or dramatic, I just wanted it to be liveable and maintainable☺️
Let’s get these last 3 weeks out the way and see where we’re at!!👀

It’s been A WEEK, afternoon tea with my mum, chicken wraps will always be my FAV, even when I get a Nandos (nothing changes), and completing a Hyrox Sim today too to end the week☕️🌯🏃♀️
I’m still on a lifestyle cut to feel confident in myself (7 weeks complete, 3 weeks to go!) - so still sticking to plan MAJORITY of the time, and letting the other MINORITY of the time be because it’s a LIFESTYLE cut, not a restrictive one - so I can still enjoy food out with my friends & family (whilst still being mindful), skip a day of training if I’m really sore from a previous session, and keep enjoying the process too by not letting it take over my mindset!💫

I had a chat with a client yesterday
They said ‘the gym I used to go to was very judgy, people would nudge their friends and point at you and laugh’
And when I tell you MY JAW DROPPED😧
The truth is…
Everyone’s got a reason for being where they currently are
Whether they’re pre/post operation, recovering from an injury, recovering from food struggles, gaining confidence in themselves again after loosing themselves, doing it for their own peace of mind…
The list is honestly endless📋
But what I really want to address here is that gym anxiety COMES from these kinds of experiences, and it can be really hard to move forward from that😔

Proof that reality is REAL and how to use it for future self growth
Sometimes you’ve got to use these moments as learning curves, not every week is going to look the same, and especially for my client who has a business to run, 2 kids, a family, busy life schedule, feels like there’s no time for herself
It’s going to be hard sometimes, and it will at some points feel very uncontrollable, however these are your moments where you’ve got to just take a minute to think about whether it’s in your control or not…
What’s not in our control is not our main priority, so it will just have to take a back seat, however what IS in our priority is what you need to focus on most

Before starting up to a coaching program, you will always have doubts
‘Will it work this time’
‘What if I can’t fit it in with my life’
So many people go into wanting their goals e.g. ‘fat loss’, but don’t have a clear roadmap to their results
They just want to ‘lose weight’, but they don’t have a clear path ahead of them to do it, they don’t have milestones to hit, they don’t have a structure to get them where they want to be
HOWEVER
Before starting up with my coaching program, you will be asked what are your goals? (Generic)
BUT then
You’ll be asked if you have any ADDITIONAL goals (pull ups, press ups etc.), these start to shift your mind away from the fact you want to just ‘lose weight’, and instead gives you something else to focus on
Because we all know it isn’t smooth sailing when it comes to ‘losing weight’, you’ll start thinking ‘is it working’, or ‘I don’t see a change yet’, but THIS is the point you need to overcome and push past, because that’s when you will make the most progress!
