A new era 21/08/2018

August 2018 saw Rose's departure from Cransley School to concentrate on writing and training. She is involved with Casio UK producing resources for A level Maths and is part of their team offering training to teachers in schools and colleges. As a senior examiner, she is part of the team offering training for the exam board OCR, and her first face-to-face course will be in the autumn. Happy Valentine’s day! 10/02/2016

Today we looked at different ways of making heart shapes. We drew curves with a ruler! Begin with the frame (see below) and in each corner, join numbers that add to ten with a sloping line. When all six corners are completed you should have a heart shape which appears to be made from curves. Some members if the club then worked on improving the frame shape to get an even better heart shape. [ 54 more words. ]
