2GP at Burwardsley

Year 5's visit to the Burtonwood Heritage Centre.

After a busy afternoon making dens 2Mc are ready for their tea.

2Mo at Burwardsley. We arrived to lovely sunshine and have enjoyed den building with our friends this afternoon.

Last week we had a visit from the Ridiculous Rhyme Show.

We had a fun time listening to their silliness whilst learning lots of new rhymes and rhyming words.

Before half term we said farewell to Mrs Kirchin who was a Midday Assistant at Barrow Hall for 20 years.

Mrs Kirchin provided lunchtime support in the school, to a number of children - too many to count - both at this site and the original site on Barrowhall Lane.

We’d like to thank Mrs Kirchin for all her time at Barrow Hall and wish her well in her retirement.

Twenty years of working mostly outside, in all weather, that’s commitment!

We planned, drew and cut out letters and attached them together to create a shadow sculpture, promoting positivity with the word ‘Fun’.
