On Friday we held our Barrow Hall Talent Show Final.

What amazing talent we have - we watched rapping, various types of dance including tap dancing, ballet, Irish dancing and more, gymnastics skills, piano playing, pogo stick skills, a comedy act, keyboard playing, football and hoop skills and more.

A huge well done to all who auditioned, those who made the final and our winners.

Earlier in the week the Friends of Barrow Hall very kindly came into school with ice lollies for everyone. It was lovely to have a welcome break from the heat we have had recently.

Thank you to Mrs Patel who ran a Hinduism Workshop for our Year 3 children.

She talked about her life as a Hindu, the Hindu religion and how that influences her life. She also gave them an insight into daily tasks as a Hindu.

YEAR 6 GO APE ADVENTURE!

Our Year 6 children had an incredible time swinging through the trees, tackling the high ropes, and pushing themselves out of their comfort zones at Go Ape!

Watching them support one another, laugh through the challenges, and simply enjoy being children reminds us why these experiences matter so much.

As a Rights Respecting School, we are proud to champion UNICEF’s Article 31: The Right to Play and Culture.

Every child, everywhere, deserves the space to rest, play, and take part in wide-ranging activities. Today, our Year 6’s lived that right to the absolute fullest!
