It's bitter sweet for me today as I start my maternity leave waiting for little baby Reid to arrive ❤️ Saying goodbye to a few of the children has been hard, as they will be moving on to primary school and school nursery in September when I return. I am so lucky to have such amazing, supportive families and the BEST children that I get to spend my days with and somehow call it "work". Thank you so much to all of the parents, children, and Childminder friends for the beautiful cards, flowers, gifts and vouchers. Cards filled with such lovely words that have left me feeling very emotional and grateful to have been able to be a part of all of my little people's start in life and to welcome them into our home as a part of the family. We are truly grateful and cannot wait to update you all once our baby arrives 👶🏻🥹

Today we say farewell to one of our gorgeous little friends, as she embarks on her next journey in school nursery and big school in September 🥹 You have grown so much during your time here and have made so many lovely memories with all of your friends. But it is not goodbye, as we will still be able to see your lovely little smiley face at school each day ☺️ x

Exploring science at the Catalyst Museum 🔬🧪🥽

This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day and what it means for our country. We have been spotting lots of Poppy's and displays in the community and talking about the brave soldiers during the war. We have been exploring in our sensory tray, mark making, and have watched a small clip that introduces Remembrance Day to young children.

🚒👨‍🚒🔥🚔👮‍♂️EMERGENCY SERVICES 👮‍♂️🚔🔥👨‍🚒🚒

We have been very lucky to explore some of the emergency services in the past few weeks. The children have enjoyed a visit from two police officers at our local Childminder network group. The children enjoyed chatting with the police officers, trying on their hats, and even driving their car with sirens and blue lights! 🚔

We also visited Blaze bear and his fire fighter friends, listened to him read a story about fire safety, and explored the fire engine 🚒
