We believe children learn best outdoors through forest school, fun parties or events at our woods or outdoors at school.
We firmly believe children learn best outdoors. By working ethically and responsibly with land owners we are able to give outdoor learning, play and forest school in some brilliant locations such as Lumb Brook Valley, Gorse Covert Mounds and New Moss Wood and more besides.

Fairy village making birthday party.
All flowers picked are common or introduced varieties that won't be affected if we take them or that we want gone from our native woodland - don't pick wild flowers for your fairy garden.

HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?
We had a 5 year old forest party and built a dragon nest!

BILLY AND THE BEAST session today with year 1&2.
After rescuing our forest animals trapped and suspended in a sack we made a soup for the beast consisting of alder cones (instead of hedgehog), hazel catkins (instead of fox tail), cleavers to add some spice (instead of mice). Then finally grass because it looked like hairs/hares instead of rabbits.
We then made habitats for our creatures. A deadhedge for our hedgehog, den for fox, burrows for mice and a Warren for bunnies.
Finally we protected some bluebells by building a little fence from sticks.
