Established 12 years, we offer dance classes from 6 months+ in ISTD Cecchetti Ballet, Tap & Modern, plus Musical Theatre, Street & Break Dance, with adult Ballet, Tap & Zumba. Classes for children:
Street & Break Dance age 4+
ISTD Tap Dance age 3+
Ballerina Bear age 2-4
Hip Hop Hippo age 2-4
ISTD Cecchetti Ballet age 4+
ISTD Modern age 5+

Classes for adults:
Zumba Fitness Monday 8-9pm, Wednesday

11.15-12.15pm, Thursday 7-8pm (booking required)
Adult Tap (Intermediate level) Monday 7-7.45
Beginners Adult Ballet Tuesday 7-7.45pm
Intermediate Adult Ballet Wednesday 7-8pm
Strong Nation (HIIT class) Tuesday 6.30-7.30pm

Looking for something fun and a little different to enjoy with your little one? Come and meet Ballerina Bear and Hip Hop Hippo at JC Dance Academy! 🩰🦛

Created especially for children aged 6 months–2 years with their grown-up, our classes combine music, movement, sensory play and lots of precious time together. No experience needed, just come along and have fun! 💕

Miss Jenny has had a very busy few hours in the office today trying to catch up after the summer 😂 and you’ll all be receiving a Welcome Back email from me very soon with everything you need to know for the new term.

But for now… I’m attempting to get a brand new website up and running because, of course, our current one has decided it no longer wants to update… perfect timing 🙌🏼😂

Good job I have a tech-savvy husband who can be roped in to help! 💻🤣

✨ Vegas… what a week! 🇺🇸

This week I’ve definitely been wearing a few different hats… and I’ve loved every minute of it! ❤️

As JC - teaching my Tap class at Dance Teacher Web and sharing some of the knowledge I’ve built up over many years of teaching. There’s something I absolutely LOVE about teaching teachers, sharing ideas and hopefully sending everyone away with something new to take back to their own studios. I am very passionate about tap so I loved teaching this class

🐻🦛🐯 As Dancing Dots - proudly sponsoring DTW and getting to share Ballerina Bear, Hip Hop Hippo & Tappy Tiger with dance teachers from all over the world!

From teaching in the studio to chatting all things pre-school dance on our stand… it’s been a pretty amazing few days. 🥰

🎉 Officially OUT OF THE OFFICE! ☀️✈️

Now that the ballet exam results are in, I can officially switch on holiday mode! You should have received an email from me today, sent from sunny Cala d’Or, with the fantastic news that every single one of our ballet students passed with flying colours! 🩰✨

What an incredible year it’s been, packed full of opportunities and achievements for our dancers – performances, competitions, our annual show, workshops, plus fantastic success in our ISTD Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Modern and ISTD Tap examinations. I couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve all accomplished.

We also have our new Deputy Principal Miss Jess which we are thrilled to have her step into this role ❤️

Thank you to all of our wonderful students and families for your continued support, and for all the thoughtful cards and generous gifts. It means so much.

Have the best summer everyone, I can’t wait to see you all back in the studio next term! ❤️
