This afternoon all the children had great fun helping to wash Millie's car!🚗🧽

This hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and the development of important motor skills, while also teaching the children about caring for their environment and belongings.

There were lots of smiles, splashes and laughter as the children worked together to make the car sparkle. Activities like these help children learn through play and real-life experience.

The children are already asking to do it again so all the the girls cars will soon be all shiny and clean 😊

Last week at nursery, we celebrated the end of our butterfly life cycle journey by releasing our beautiful butterflies into the world.

The children have loved watching them grow from tiny caterpillars, into chrysalises, and finally into butterflies. It was such s special moment seeing their excitement as they waved goodbye and watched them fly away. The children even named two of them butter and butty😊

A wonderful hands-on learning experience filled with curiosity, care, and lots of smiles ❤️🐛🦋

What a lovely week we've had at nursery!

The children have been getting creative with pebble painting and leaf painting, exploring different textures, colours and patterns using natural materials from outdoors. 🌿🎨

We also celebrated World Bee Day by learning about the important roles bees play in nature and talking about how we can help look after them. 🐝

Alongside this, the children enjoyed learning about Shavuot through stories, discussions, and themed activities, helping them explore different traditions and celebrations.

It's been a week full of creative, learning, and fun experiences for all our little learners. ❤️ 🌈

We’ve been busy little explorers at nursery over the last couple of days. 🐛✨

The children have been fascinated watching our caterpillars grow and change each day. Lots of curious questions, gentle observations, and excitement as we talk about what will happen next in their lifecycle 🦋

It’s been a wonderful hands-on way to learn about nature, patience, and caring for living things. We can’t wait to see the next stage of their transformation!

Spring has been in full bloom at our nursery this month 🌸🌿

The children have been busy exploring the wonders of the season through a variety of fun and engaging activities. We’ve enjoyed planting flowers and learning how to care for them, watching our little garden grow day by day. The children have also loved spending more time outdoors, taking part in nature walks, spotting signs of spring, and talking about the changes around us.

Creative play has been a big highlight too, with lots of spring-themed arts and crafts, from painting blossoms to making colourful butterflies 🦋🎨

It’s been a joy to see their curiosity, creativity, and excitement as they learn through play. We’re looking forward to even more seasonal adventures in the weeks ahead!

Yesterday the children planted some seeds to make our own herb gardens within each room.
We took it in turns to put the seeds in to the soil and then we gave them some water to help them grow.
The children will be able to watch them grow over the next few weeks before hopefully we are able to try them.

Tomorrow we will be wearing red & white to celebrate St George's day.

For world art day on Wednesday each room designed an art themed canvas in their rooms. We think the they did a brilliant job, little artists in the making 🧑‍🎨🐛🦋🐌🐞🌺🌸💐🌼🌷🌹
