Tips to avoid getting. Into the free weights!🏋️♀️🔥
So when I first got onto my fitness journey…
I would not step 1 foot into the free weights. In fact going to a lot of places on my own I wouldn’t bother!…
- felt very comfortable about stepping a foot in.
I would just be focused around all the machines and cardio machines…
- Had very low confidence.
- suffer with anxiety
- worried about what other would think
Now i see the platform as my main home… yes I will ask someone too step off it they ain’t doing any squats or deadlift. 😂
So if it’s your first time and feel uncomfortable about gong in that particular area. Her are a few tips.
- focus on your workout
- Go on a off peak time
- Take a friend
- Speak to a trainer have a little guidance
When you find your consistent with doing weight your confidence will change… you go in focus on your workout with suffering with the same issue I was dealing with.
I hope this helps and if your after any guidance feel free to contact me on how to avoid fearing that free weights

How many times do think i’ve heard this!…
The fact is you can still lose fat if you eat bread!
Right, so I’ve just changed the word from weight! Why??
If I am one of them saying I’m losing weight because I’ve cut out my bread! Then I’m sorry to s**t on you but just because you have lost weight does not mean you have lost FAT, you’ve most likely just lost water.
When eating carbohydrates we store water around the body 1 gram of carb = 3-4g of water.
Another word for that drop on the scales will most likely be water that has been stored.
So the moral of this is if you like bread carry on eating it! If you think that it is affecting your weight loss. It’s not it the amount of food you are eating and drinking.

Well considering the Year we’ve gone through Yes I lost a bit muscle, but my training was no where near than what I was, also my training has change from just doing weights to getting into Olympic lifting which I’m enjoying at the moment, I train pretty much 3x a week, you don’t have spend all long hours doing something you enjoy.
I noticed change of my shape, I am not disappointed I am still in decent shape and the most important thing is that I eat whatever the f**k I want.
Reason I’m putting this up is that I don’t see exercise as a choir if you do then you doing something wrong, specially if you want to make a change, start doing something you enjoy that you can still make a change if that is your goal.
How many times have gone to the gym then come out and felt good and made it a lifestyle, instead of coming out thinking thank the f**k I done that then never come back??
To me the most important thing if I am strong and keeping active and being able carry things that come into our lifestyle without having a problem and able to do things is for my own mental health.
I live on my own and when it comes to doing things, if anyone knows me well enough, they know for the fact I hate asking for help, I like to try to everything myself, of course I make mistakes I learn from them, its not failing its just learning, you fall, you get back up again, if you don’t make mistakes you won’t learn.
So, whatever it is find somethings you enjoy doing and keep active doing it, remember it’s a lifestyle not a choir. Enjoy it.

🏃♀️Is cardio better for me or weights?? 🏋️♂️
Well I get ask this lots! The fact is they both have their benefits! I would not never say do not do any or do 1 thing instead of the other, Also I would like you too walk up the stairs being strong and not out of breath!
We have people say that the prefer 1 to another, that is fine just chose the 1 that you like doing majority of the time, what counts is you is being active! In my belief that the most important part.
Myself I prefer the weights reason is I have more variety in what I can do though I do still do cardio for my own fitness, this does not mean you have to follow the same, each to their own. This also depending what your goals you are after too.
So as it comes to it the many important thing we looking at is burning calories! The fact is they both burn calories in different ways, I would always recommend doing both without a doubt you will have a huge benefit from doing them both together and becoming stronger and fitter!

🥩🥩 Keeping your proteins up
One thing I come across is when people go on to diets is the amounts of proteins they are missing out on, a few little words about keeping up your protein while your dieting or watching what your eating.
Keeping up protein in your diet is one of the keys source specially to weight loss/fat loss for one, It keeps you fuller for longer, YES that’s right Keeps you fuller for longer so you would eat less than your normally do with eating a lot carbohydrate based foods.
Protein antibodies are released into the immune system helping you keep healthy to prevent you getting ill, specially around this time with the pandemic going on.
I know how you ladies like to have your hair made nice and have your nails done often, well it keeps your hair from getting brittle and avoiding breaking of the hair and keeps your nails healthy, As women get older too coming to menopause, will help the muscle connective tissue around the joints also keeping the bone density which I did explain about on my menopause post the chances to may suffer from osteoarthritis.
Signs that may occur while not having enough protein!
📍Feeling tired, Fatigue
📍Moodiness
📍Brittle or damage hair
📍Suffer illness regular
📍Slow healing of cuts and grazes
📍Being hungry all the time.
Hope you find it interesting and find it enjoy reading and hope it helps you!
Any more information feels free to DM me or if you would like to be apart of my online coaching click the link on my bio or copy n’ paste it to your internet browser

So after learning after lockdown.
I found I feel alot worse staying in., so decided make a plan towards the end
Better late than never right?
Learned that you got your self to be accountable for.
Its easier to just stay in bed.
Put the TV on
Nap on the coach
Binge eat.
So this lockdown decided to use my online coaching on my self for the accountability so things gets done.
Early morning run done.
