Three evening performances and three matinee's later we've enjoyed a lie in this morning!

Well done to all our staff and our fantastic cast for the months worth of rehearsals in school and after school. It has been a joy to watch a cast increase in their confidence as they show has gone on and they have really put on a performance to be proud of.
Thank you to everyone involved!

What a great time our GCSE classes have had watching the Hallé Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

We were incredibly proud of how our students represented the school and we're confident that they took a lot away from this incredible experience, but don't take my word for it, here is what they've said on the bus home...

Fern (Y10) "I enjoyed listening to the Haydn and hearing how the melody is questions and answers"

Lexi (Y10) "I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it but I really did!"

Laila (Y11) "The sound was unreal"

Devon (Y11) "watching them was genuinely inspirational and has inspired me even more to continue studying music at college"

Huge congratulations to Amy who recently passed her Grade 7 singing with Distinction!

We're all incredibly proud of your achievement Amy, well done. 🎤👩‍🎤‍🎤🎼

The students have planned this gig and put it on themselves as part of their course. 👌🏼
