Afternoon naps in our new beautiful outdoor area 🌿💤

The children are enjoying afternoon naps in our lovely outdoor area. They’ve settled down, and we follow our safer sleep procedure by checking each child every 10 minutes. We’re really fortunate to have such a wonderful outdoor space at Stretton.

🌿🪵 OUR FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS! 🪵🌿

On Friday afternoon, we had an incredible time celebrating our wonderful dads at Stretton Lodge. We went pond dipping and discovered newts, created an amazing den, and used a saw to make some wooden tiles for decoration. The big bubbles were a massive hit! The dads enjoyed a refreshing non-alcoholic b**r and a bacon bap, followed by delicious s'mores cooked over the fire. We had a fantastic time and hope you all enjoyed yourselves too! Wishing everyone the best Father's Day!

Today, we celebrate all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, carers, and father figures who play such an important role in our children's lives.

Thank you for the love, guidance, encouragement, and adventures you share every day. Whether you're exploring the great outdoors, reading stories, building dens, splashing in muddy puddles, or simply sharing a cuddle, the memories you create help our children grow with confidence, curiosity, and happiness.

We hope your day is filled with laughter, love, and special moments with your little ones.

🐣 Chick Update! 🐣

Our chicks have grown so much in such a short time, and it’s been wonderful to watch them develop! They are becoming more confident every day and have started using their wings much more, with lots of enthusiastic flapping and little practice flights around their enclosure.

They certainly have healthy appetites and love their food, but they also enjoy plenty of attention from both the children and staff. In fact, they have become quite the little characters! We’ve already had a few cheeky escape attempts, with some of them clearly keen to leave their crate and come and join the children during the day.

The chicks have quickly become firm favourites throughout the nursery. The children are fascinated by watching them grow, learning about how they develop, and helping to care for them. Staff have also enjoyed seeing their personalities emerge, with each chick showing its own unique traits.

We can’t wait to see how much more they grow and change over the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for more chick updates soon! 🐥💛

Welcome back to staff, chicks and children at a very warm Stretton today!

For all those asking for updates here is a little update of how the chick's are doing and what their plans are going forward.
