What a fabulous night at the Halliwell Jones. Our year 5/6 girls took part in a tag rugby festival before the game. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for the game. We are so proud of them! Lovely to see one of our old pupils refereeing one of our games too.

We are SO proud of all of our year 6 children for their hard work, concentration and determination this week!
They certainly have shone and given each test their all ⭐
A huge thank you to parents/carers at home for your support, your children have been a credit to you 🕊️

This would be a fantastic opportunity for our year 6 children after a week (or year really) of working their socks off!

During English lessons, year 5 have been looking at Philipe Petit and his amazing stunt. The children have been thinking about persuasive language and have also been developing their oracy skills by taking on the role of a news reader reporting on the event.

What a wonderful day we have had at St Ann’s!
We started by officially opening our new ‘Sunrise Squad’ free breakfast club this morning, with a special ribbon cutting by our local MP, Charlotte Nichols.
A big thank you to everybody who joined us to celebrate this exciting new beginning.
We hope that all the children who came along for the first time enjoyed it & we will hopefully see you all there again on Monday from 8.20am ☀️
