Baby zone fun today! 😍

Following on from yesterdays save our oceans activities, today we went to look at the fish at our local garden centre.
We saw tiny fish and absolutely huge fish (£1800 koi!)

The children loved watching the fish, and looking at all the different types and colours.

🌊 World Ocean Day – Save Our Seas 🐠

Today the children enjoyed taking part in some Ocean Day activities, learning about how we can help to protect our oceans and the animals that live in them.

The children discovered that our “sea” had become polluted with rubbish. Using nets, tweezers and their hands, they carefully searched through the water to remove litter and make the sea safe again.

As they explored, we talked about why it is important to keep our oceans clean and how rubbish can harm sea creatures. The children worked together to rescue the animals and help save our seas.

To finish the activity, the children decorated their own sea biscuits using ocean-coloured icing before enjoying them as a special treat.

The children had a wonderful time exploring, learning and becoming little ocean heroes! 💙🐠🐙🌊

Today the children helped to make their own banana pancakes for lunch. They especially enjoyed cracking the eggs and squishing the banana. They then had strawberries and tangerine with it, with a drizzle of honey on top.
Delicious!

We also practised using knives and forks to cut the pancake up into smaller pieces to eat.

A lovely day out to end a great few weeks.

Half term now! I’m looking forward to a sunny week off! I can’t believe we are going to be in June when we return!
